Private Harold Thompson Henderson ’10

Pte. Harold T. Henderson, son of William Henderson, of Lethbridge, was a boarder at U.C.C. from 1905 to 1910. He was killed in action on February 22nd, 1917.

Pte. Henderson enlisted in the 82nd Battalion at Calgary in September, 1915, and after training for some months in Calgary left for England in May, 19 16. When the battalion was broken up in England he joined the Yukon Motor Machine Gun Battery, with which he went to France in August, 19 16. He was killed by concussion from a trench mortar shell, at the age of 27.
