Private Allan Henry MacDonald ’77
Died: September 1, 1916
Records relating to Private Allan Henry MacDonald ’77 are scarce.
What we do know from the Upper Canada College Roll of Service 1914-1919 is that he entered the College in 1874 from Trinity College School in Port Hope at the age of 14. Old Boy MacDonald left in June 1877 and seems to have continued studies in Germany. The Roll indicates that he resided in British Columbia from 1896 until 1916 when he enlisted on January 29, 1916. He was a Private in the The 102nd (North British Columbia) Battalion of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. Private MacDonald died on September 1, 1916.
