Lieutenant Franklin Reginald Gibson ’10

Died: September 20, 1918

Lieut. F. R. Gibson, son of Mrs. C. J. Gibson, 55 Highland Ave., was at U.C.C. from 1906-1910. He had completed his 2nd year S.P.S. when, in 1915 he took a commission in the Royal Grenadiers, afterwards transferring to the Mechanical Transport Section and went overseas in Jan., 1916. After serving in France and Belgium, he transferred to the R.G.A. and was sent to Italy in Jan., 1918. While there he contracted dysentery, was sent to England convalescent and died four days after his arrival; he was in his 25th year.
