Lieutenant Edward Blake Allan ’97
Died: June 3, 1916
Lieut. Edward Blake Allan was killed in action at Zillebeke, June, 1916.
Lieut. Allan was the son of H. W. Allan, of Windsor, Ont., and served as lieutenant in the Canadian Mounted Rifles in South Africa. He joined the First C.E.F. as a private in an ammunition column, and gained his commission in an infantry battalion after Ypres.
Lieut. Allan was at U.C.C. from 1896-1897, and died at the age of 37.
