Lance Corporal Robert Bennet Moffat ’99

Lance-Corp. R. D. Moffatt, son of the late R. Moffatt, of Winnipeg, was killed in action March 1st, 19 17.

He was at U.C.C. from 1896-1899, and had been employed later as engineer during the construction of the G.T.P. from Winnipeg to Prince Rupert. In February, 19 16, he joined a Calgary battalion, but was transferred to the Canadian Engineers. In July, 19 1 6 he reached France.
